In short LOADS!!!!

Things to see/places to go
Make the most of your holiday!
Bodrum
Beautiful views overlooking Bodrum harbour
Plenty of local shops for buying souvenirs
Turkey is the top holiday spot for Britons, according to one survey, and this summer Bodrum is expected to lead the league as most favoured resort there.
Named by the New York Times as one of its top destinations, it scores over many other Turkish resorts by being so close to the airport, plus having ‘”swanky hotels, chic new marina, prowling paparazzi and high-decibel nightlife!!”
The town is dominated by St Peter’s Castle, home of the fabulous Museum of Underwater Archaeology.
In the harbour you can catch the hourly ferry over to the Greek island of Kos, or take a lazier option – a trip island-hopping on one of the many traditional ships available for hire.
If retail therapy is more your thing, the labyrinth of alleyways behind the harbour are home to a multitude of shops and bars, where you can purchase top-quality leather goods and jewellery made locally, or if the budget allows, the ‘real thing’ from the designer shops.
Nightlife is bouncing, with numerous bars and restaurants plus the largest night club in Europe, although it still maintains its charm and friendly atmosphere.
In short there’s something for all ages and taste!
Gumbet
The Gumbet region is around 2.5km from Bodrum and with its extensive beachfront promenade lined with bars and restaurants is an ideal spot for water sports or just soaking up the sun. The life in Gumbet is lively 24 hours a day making it a popular spot for the ‘young at heart’.
Bitez
Just a few kilometres from Bodrum is the very pretty resort of Bitez. Boasting a beautiful sandy beach it will appeal to those for whom Gumbet may prove that little bit too lively. Highly recommended for long, lazy days, broken by a relaxing lunch at one of the many beach front restaurants.
Gumusluk
Gumusluk is a silvery bay 15 miles from Bodrum where local artists exhibit their pictures and which claims some of the most spectacular sunsets in Turkey. We wholeheartedly recommend that you spend one late afternoon here in a seaside restaurant sampling the local fish whilst watching the sun setting over the sea.
