Villa Sonja Apartment is a very charming, completely self-contained apartment situated in the extensive grounds of our Villa Sonja. The apartment is ideal for a couple or small family and benefits from exclusive private use of the superb heated swimming pool with slide and the extensive gardens and terraces offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.

Villa Sonja Apartment Description

The property is situated only 10 minutes from the bustling town of Fuengirola with its abundant nightlife, restaurants, shops and the coasts longest stretch of golden sands, it is also a similar distance from the charming, picturesque old town of Mijas, and provides a wonderful base for either a summer sun holiday or a winter golfing break.

The fully air conditioned accommodation consists of a small kitchen/diner complete with 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle etc.

The lounge area has seating for 4, a TV plus DVD player and a selection of movies. There are 2 pull down single beds in this room also.

There is a further double bedroom with fitted wardrobes plus a shower room and wc and hand basin.

Numerous bars, restaurants, supermarket, newsagent, pharmacy etc. within a short walk of the apartment.

Please note: we do not accept separate bookings for the apartment when the main villa is occupied to ensure complete privacy for our guests.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The Costa del Sol is one of Spain's most popular holiday destinations. Tourists are attracted to the region for the long hot summers which merge into the mildest winters, with over 300 days of sunshine over the year it's not hard to see why this destination is proving to be popular all year round.

Without doubt the many well kept beaches which have been awarded the European Blue Flag award, for high standards of water and sand hygiene help to provide a diverse variety of outdoor activities including, sailing, fishing, scuba diving and windsurfing. These are just a few of the activities available all year round.

The towns of Fuengirola with its golden beaches and extensive night life, and the picturesque hill top village of Mijas old town are both only a few minutes drive away, with Marbella and Puerto Banus easily reached in around 20 minutes.

Tivoli World Amusement Park (approximately 22 minutes drive) is the biggest amusement park on the Costa del Sol and offers both rides and a variety of shows including Flamenco and Wild West. To cater for younger children it has an area of the park call Tivolandia, which is perfect for kids to let off some steam.

Benalmadena Cablecar is right next door to Tivoli World, the cars run up to the summit of Monte Calamorro. Once at the top you can enjoy fantastic views over the Costa del Sol and on a clear day see Gibraltar and the North African coast. Each car can carry 4 people and the journey takes approximately 15 minutes, at the top you also have donkey rides, exhibitions of birds of prey and Spanish horse riding exhibitions all included in the price of the ticket.

Aqualand Aqua Park, Torremolinos (approximately 25 minutes drive) is the largest water park on the Costa del Sol, covering more than 70,000 square meters and has rides called Boomerang, Kamikazee Twister, Rapids and the Black Hole. The park also has an area for small children, waves pools, lots of grassy areas for those wishing to sunbathe, many restaurants and an 18 hole mini golf course.

Torremolinos Crocodile Park (approximately 25 minutes drive) is located in Torremolinos next to Aqualand.

Fuengirola Zoo (approximately 10 minutes drive) can be found in the centre of Fuengirola opposite Mijas Aquapark.
